Juli wurde die Registrierung f\u00fcr die chinesischen Varianten von Firefox Accounts (accounts.firefox.com.cn) und Firefox Community gestoppt, ebenso wie die M\u00f6glichkeit, Nachrichten und Kommentare im Forum zu ver\u00f6ffentlichen. Ab dem 29. September werden die Website firefox.com.cn, das Forum (mozilla.com.cn), die Homepage (home.firefoxchina.cn), Ressourcen zum Herunterladen und Aktualisieren der Firefox-Version f\u00fcr China sowie die Dienste zur Verwaltung von Konten und zur Synchronisierung von Einstellungen (Firefox Sync) nicht mehr verf\u00fcgbar sein. <\/p>\n

F\u00fcr die Installation von Firefox wird chinesischen Nutzern empfohlen, die Haupt-Downloadseiten von Mozilla zu verwenden. Nutzern der chinesischen Version von Firefox Accounts wird die M\u00f6glichkeit geboten, eine Datensicherung zu exportieren. Die Unterst\u00fctzung der Nutzer und die Begleitung der Dienste f\u00fcr China werden k\u00fcnftig entweder von Mozilla oder einem neuen autorisierten Partner durchgef\u00fchrt. <\/p>\n

Das Unternehmen Mozilla China wurde im Jahr 2005 gegr\u00fcndet, um Firefox in China zu f\u00f6rdern, die Website firefox.com.cn f\u00fcr chinesische Nutzer zu betreuen und eine Plattform f\u00fcr Diskussionen in chinesischer Sprache aufrechtzuerhalten. Das Unternehmen entwickelte angepasste Firefox-Versionen f\u00fcr China. Die Nutzung der Markenrechte von Mozilla erfolgte in Absprache mit der Mozilla Foundation.
