Der Schwerpunkt des Projekts liegt auf hochwertigem Design, das darauf abzielt, ein benutzerfreundliches System zu schaffen, das minimale Ressourcen ben\u00f6tigt und hohe Startgeschwindigkeiten bietet. Den Nutzern wird die eigene Desktop-Umgebung Pantheon angeboten. Bootf\u00e4hige ISO-Images (3,3 GB) stehen f\u00fcr die amd64-Architektur zum Download bereit (f\u00fcr einen kostenlosen Download von der Projektseite muss im Feld f\u00fcr den Spendenbetrag 0 eingegeben werden).      <\/p>\n<p>Bei der Entwicklung der urspr\u00fcnglichen Komponenten von elementary OS werden GTK3, die Programmiersprache Vala und das eigene Framework Granite verwendet. Als Basis f\u00fcr die Distribution dienen die Arbeiten des Ubuntu-Projekts. Auf Paketebene und bei der Unterst\u00fctzung von Repositories ist elementary OS 8.x mit Ubuntu 24.04 kompatibel. Alle zus\u00e4tzlichen Anwendungen, die zur Installation \u00fcber AppCenter angeboten werden, sowie einige standardm\u00e4\u00dfig gelieferte Anwendungen sind im Flatpak-Format verpackt. Die grafische Umgebung basiert auf der eigenen Shell Pantheon, die verschiedene Komponenten wie den Fenstermanager Gala (basierend auf LibMutter), den Launcher Slingshot, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/de\/control-panel\/\"   title=\"Steuerungspanel\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"531\">Steuerungspanel<\/a> Switchboard, die obere Leiste Wing, die Taskleiste Dock und den Sitzungsmanager Pantheon Greeter (basierend auf LightDM) vereint.    <\/p>\n<p>Die Umgebung umfasst eine Reihe von eng integrierten Anwendungen, die f\u00fcr die Bed\u00fcrfnisse der Nutzer erforderlich sind. Zu den Anwendungen geh\u00f6ren haupts\u00e4chlich Eigenentwicklungen des Projekts, wie der Terminalemulator Pantheon Terminal, der Dateimanager Pantheon Files, der Texteditor Code und der Musikplayer Music (Noise). Das Projekt entwickelt auch den Foto-Manager Pantheon Photos (ein Fork von Shotwell) und den E-Mail-Client Mail (ein Fork von Evolution).    <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Ver\u00f6ffentlichung der Distribution elementary OS 8.0.2\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/cb126ac1d8389db751ae2eb8f5f21894.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>        <\/p>\n<p>Haupt\u00e4nderungen:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Im Installer und im Einrichtungsassistenten wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Hilfsmittel f\u00fcr Menschen mit Behinderungen verbessert.\n<li class=\"l\">  Im Installer wurde ein Fehler behoben, der zu einem Absturz beim Erstellen bestimmter Kombinationspartitionen w\u00e4hrend der Festplattenpartitionierung f\u00fchrte.\n<li class=\"l\"> Der Musikplayer wurde um zus\u00e4tzliche Funktionen zur Verwaltung von Warteschlangen erweitert und die Leistung bei der Verarbeitung gro\u00dfer Warteschlangen verbessert. Die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr das L\u00f6schen einzelner Musikst\u00fccke aus dem Kontextmen\u00fc wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt. Eine Suche nach dem Titel eines St\u00fccks wurde implementiert. Die Aufnahme und Wiederherstellung der Warteschlange und des zuletzt abgespielten Titels wurde sichergestellt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Im Terminal-Emulator wurden Probleme mit dem Eingabefokus beim
