Diese wird f\u00fcr die Bereitstellung von Software-TK-Anlagen, Sprachkommunikationssystemen, VoIP-Gateways, die Einrichtung von IVR-Systemen (Sprachauswahl), Sprachmailboxen, Telefonkonferenzen und Call-Centern verwendet. Der Quellcode des Projekts ist in C geschrieben und steht unter der GPLv2-Lizenz zur Verf\u00fcgung.       <\/p>\n<p>Asterisk 23 geh\u00f6rt zur Kategorie der Releases mit regul\u00e4rer Unterst\u00fctzung, f\u00fcr die Updates \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von zwei Jahren bereitgestellt werden. Die Unterst\u00fctzung der LTS-Version Asterisk 20 wird bis Oktober 2027 andauern, w\u00e4hrend Asterisk 22 bis Oktober 2029 unterst\u00fctzt wird. Die Unterst\u00fctzung der LTS-Version 18.x wird am 20. Oktober eingestellt.
