Als Grund wird der Fortschritt in der Entwicklung von Btrfs und die erweiterten Funktionen wie Pr\u00fcfziffern zur Erkennung von Daten- und Metadatenbesch\u00e4digung, Snapshots, eine benutzerfreundliche Verwaltung von Volumes, transparente Kompression und die Unterst\u00fctzung der Reflink-Operation zur Erstellung von Dateikopien durch Klonen von Metadaten genannt.

Die Unterst\u00fctzung von Btrfs kann in der vor einigen Tagen ver\u00f6ffentlichten Beta-Version von AlmaLinux OS 10.1 oder in den Builds von AlmaLinux OS Kitten getestet werden, die auf CentOS Stream 10 basieren. Die Arbeit zur Wiederherstellung der Btrfs-Unterst\u00fctzung wurde gemeinsam mit Entwicklern aus den Projekten Fedora und CentOS, die Teil der Arbeitsgruppen Fedora Btrfs SIG und CentOS Hyperscale SIG sind, durchgef\u00fchrt. <\/p>\n

Das Unternehmen Red Hat erkl\u00e4rte das Dateisystem Btrfs mit der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von RHEL 7.4 (2017) f\u00fcr veraltet und stellte die Unterst\u00fctzung in der RHEL 8 Version (2019) vollst\u00e4ndig ein, indem das Kernel-Modul btrfs.ko, die Btrfs-Progs-Dienstprogramme und das Snapper-Paket aus den Basislieferungen entfernt wurden. Die Unterst\u00fctzung des Dateisystems Btrfs wurde jedoch in Oracle Linux fortgesetzt. <\/p>\n
