Galen Hunt, Managing Director von Microsoft Azure Sphere und ehemaliger Leiter der Betriebssystementwicklungsgruppe bei Microsoft Research, stellte ein Forschungsprojekt zur Erstellung von Werkzeugen vor, die AI mit traditionellen Algorithmen kombinieren, um die gr\u00f6\u00dften Codebasen von Microsoft automatisiert in Rust neu zu schreiben. Das Ziel des Projekts ist die vollst\u00e4ndige Eliminierung der Programmiersprachen C und C++ aus den Codebasen von Microsoft bis 2030. Als Mission wird die Beseitigung von technischem Schulden bei gro\u00dfangelegten Projekten erw\u00e4hnt.
