Der ncurses 6.6-Release ist auf Quelltextebene mit den Versionen ncurses 5.x und 6.x kompatibel, erweitert jedoch die ABI. Zu den beliebten Anwendungen, die mit ncurses erstellt wurden, geh\u00f6ren aptitude, lynx, mutt, ncftp, vim, vifm, minicom, mosh, screen, tmux, emacs, less.      <\/p>\n<p>Unter den hinzugef\u00fcgten Neuerungen:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Ein neuer Terminaltreiber f\u00fcr Windows\/MinGW wurde vorgeschlagen, der Windows Terminal unterst\u00fctzt und die Verwendung der Maus erm\u00f6glicht.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Funktionen der Tools infocmp, tic und tput wurden erweitert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Im Paket ncurses-examples wurden neue Codebeispiele und Demoprogramme hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Terminaltypen ghostty, illumos, sun-16color, sun-256color, sun-direct, ms-terminal-direct, pangoterm, rlogin-color, sclp, vt520-w und vt525-w wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Komponenten linux+lockeys, xterm+r5+lockeys, xterm+r5+fkeys, vt100+pf1-pf4, * vt220+ufkeys, vt220+sfkeys, * ecma+standout, ecma+underline und wyse+cvis wurden implementiert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Im ms-terminal wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Maus implementiert, die bei Verwendung des neuen Windows-Treibers verf\u00fcgbar ist.\n<li class=\"l\"> F\u00fcr das Terminal vt525 wurde Farben unterst\u00fctzt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die M\u00f6glichkeiten des Build-Systems wurden erweitert.
