Aus diesem Grund m\u00f6chte er die Projektleitung an Entwickler \u00fcbergeben, die Zeit und Energie f\u00fcr die Arbeit an Ubuntu MATE haben.        <\/p>\n<p>Ubuntu MATE bleibt weiterhin auf dem MATE 1.26-Zweig, der 2021 gegr\u00fcndet wurde, hat ungel\u00f6ste Probleme und leidet unter einem Mangel an Entwicklern. F\u00fcr die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von Ubuntu MATE 26.04 wurde beschlossen, keinen LTS-Status zuzuweisen, und die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung des Releases steht unter Frage \u2014 trotz des Beginns der Beta-Tests von Ubuntu 26.10 sind die Beta-Bauten von Ubuntu MATE 26.04 immer noch nicht erstellt worden.
