April 2026 eine neue Version <strong>OpenBGPD 9.1<\/strong>. Die Entwickler weisen darauf hin, dass neben OpenBSD auch <strong>OpenBGPD-portable<\/strong> unter <strong>FreeBSD<\/strong> und Linux-Distributionen <strong>Alpine, Debian, Fedora, RHEL\/CentOS und Ubuntu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Neuigkeiten in OpenBGPD 9.1<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Die Verarbeitung von outbound-Filtern wurde durch das Speichern von Regeln in einem Array und die Deduplication identischer Filter zwischen Peers beschleunigt;<\/li>\n<li>Das Logging von Parsing-Fehlern wurde verbessert, was zu einem Reset der Sitzung durch die UPDATE ATTRLIST error notification f\u00fchrt;<\/li>\n<li>Neue Speichermetriken f\u00fcr show rib memory wurden hinzugef\u00fcgt, einige davon sind auch in show neighbor verf\u00fcgbar;<\/li>\n<li>Ein logischer Fehler in der Verarbeitung von MRT-Dump-Konfigurationen f\u00fcr per-peer und per-group wurde behoben.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Der Schwerpunkt in OpenBGPD 9.1 liegt nicht auf der Erweiterung der Funktionen, sondern auf der Verbesserung der Effizienz unter hoher Last. Die  <strong>outbound-Filtern<\/strong>: Regeln werden jetzt in einem Array gespeichert, und identische Filter zwischen Nachbarn werden dedupliziert. Laut den Autoren des Projekts erm\u00f6glichen diese \u00c4nderungen zusammen mit den Anpassungen in filter_set eine Reduzierung der Dauer der initialen Synchronisation auf gro\u00dfen Routern um mehr als <strong>25%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Die Verarbeitung von <strong>filter_sets<\/strong> im Prozess <strong>RDE<\/strong>. Im Projekt wurde von der fr\u00fcheren Struktur zu einem linearen Array von Set-Objekten gewechselt, um die Anzahl der Cache-Miss zu verringern und damit die Durchlaufzeiten durch die Filterpolitik zu beschleunigen. F\u00fcr die Netzwerkbetreiber bedeutet dies im Wesentlichen die Fortf\u00fchrung des Kurses zur Optimierung von OpenBGPD f\u00fcr komplexe Konfigurationen und intensive BGP-Szenarien, bei denen nicht nur die Korrektheit, sondern auch das vorhersehbare Verhalten unter Last wichtig ist.<\/p>\n<p>Eine weitere bemerkenswerte \u00c4nderung betrifft die Beobachtbarkeit. In OpenBGPD 9.1 wurden <strong>neue Speichermetriken<\/strong>, die \u00fcber den Befehl show rib memory verf\u00fcgbar sind; ein Teil dieser Daten wird jetzt auch <strong>nach Nachbarn<\/strong> verfolgt und \u00fcber show neighbor angezeigt. Gleichzeitig wurde das Fehlermanagement beim Parsen von Attributen, die zu einem R\u00fccksetzen der BGP-Sitzung mit der Meldung <strong>UPDATE ATTRLIST error<\/strong>, verbessert.
