Sie erm\u00f6glicht die Erstellung von grafischen Anwendungen, die sowohl auf modernen als auch auf \u00e4lteren Systemen (Windows 95+, Linux-Distributionen mit Kernel 2.0+, FreeBSD 3.0+) funktionieren. Ein einfacher plattform\u00fcbergreifender API wird zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt, um Fenster zu verwalten und Eingabeger\u00e4teereignisse zu verarbeiten. Zum Rendern kann OpenGL 1.0-4.6 verwendet werden. Der Code wird unter der LGPL 3.0 Lizenz bereitgestellt.      <\/p>\n<p>Die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung ist bemerkenswert durch den \u00dcbergang von der Nutzung der Programmiersprache C++98 zur ANSI C (C89), um maximale Portabilit\u00e4t und Kompatibilit\u00e4t mit \u00e4lteren Compilern und Plattformen, einschlie\u00dflich DOS, Windows 95 und PlayStation 1, zu gew\u00e4hrleisten. Das Projekt soll schrittweise weiterentwickelt werden: In der ersten Version werden Funktionen f\u00fcr die Arbeit mit Fenstern, Eingabeereignissen und Grafik angeboten, gefolgt von der Entwicklung eines 2D-Renders, Tools zur Audiobearbeitung und Schriftarten, sowie Backends, die auf den Bibliotheken SDL 1.2, SDL 2.x, SDL 3.x, SFML und GLFW basieren. Die Verwendung der Backends SDL, SFML und GLFW erm\u00f6glicht es, Anwendungen f\u00fcr nicht direkt unterst\u00fctzte Plattformen in LDL zu kompilieren, ohne den Code \u00e4ndern zu m\u00fcssen. Zuk\u00fcnftige Pl\u00e4ne umfassen auch die Schaffung einer universellen API zur Arbeit mit Sprites und 2D-Grafik, die unabh\u00e4ngig vom gew\u00e4hlten Backend (OpenGL, Vulkan, softwarebasierte
