Der Quellcode des Projekts ist in C geschrieben und steht unter der GPLv2-Lizenz zur Verf\u00fcgung. <\/p>\n<p>Asterisk 24 geh\u00f6rt zur Kategorie der Versionen mit erweiterter Unterst\u00fctzung (LTS), f\u00fcr die \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von f\u00fcnf Jahren Updates ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden, anstelle der zwei Jahre, die f\u00fcr regul\u00e4re Versionen typisch sind. Die Unterst\u00fctzung der vorherigen LTS-Version Asterisk 22 wird bis Oktober 2029 fortgesetzt, w\u00e4hrend die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Version Asterisk 20 bis Oktober 2027 gew\u00e4hrleistet ist.
