Zu den n\u00e4chsten Pl\u00e4nen geh\u00f6rt der Ersatz von \u201eSkype for Business\u201c durch eine L\u00f6sung auf Basis des offenen VoIP-Stacks und die Einf\u00fchrung eines lokalen E-Mail-Dienstes, um die Nutzung von Outlook zu vermeiden. <\/p>\n<p>Die endg\u00fcltige Auswahl der offenen Alternativen ist noch nicht abgeschlossen, die Migration soll in den n\u00e4chsten Jahren abgeschlossen werden. Zu den Hauptanforderungen an die neue Software z\u00e4hlt die Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit von Anbietern, die vollst\u00e4ndige Kontrolle \u00fcber die eigenen Daten und die Anwendung standardisierter L\u00f6sungen. Details zum Projekt sollen am 10. September ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Entscheidung f\u00fcr den Wechsel zu Open-Source-Software wurde nach \u00c4nderungen der Lizenzpolitik von Microsoft getroffen, das CERN \u00fcber 20 Jahre hinweg mit erheblichem Rabatt Software f\u00fcr Bildungseinrichtungen bereitgestellt hat. K\u00fcrzlich hat Microsoft den akademischen Status von CERN zur\u00fcckgezogen, und nach Abschluss des derzeit g\u00fcltigen Vertrags muss CERN den vollen Preis basierend auf der Anzahl der Benutzer bezahlen. Die Berechnung ergab, dass die Kosten f\u00fcr den Erwerb von Lizenzen unter den neuen Bedingungen um mehr als das Zehnfache steigen werden.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
