Das System unterst\u00fctzt die Echtzeit-Darstellung bei der Modellierung von Frisuren, die aus Hunderttausenden von Str\u00e4hnen und Millionen von Liniensegmenten bestehen. Durch die Anpassung der Detailstufen kann zwischen Leistung und Rendering-Qualit\u00e4t variiert werden. Es werden verschiedene Frisuren und Wolltypen visualisiert. Der Code des Projekts ist in C++17 geschrieben und <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/CaffeineViking\/vkhr\">wird geliefert<\/a><\/noindex> unter der MIT-Lizenz.<\/p>\n<p>Das Unternehmen AMD hat zuvor an der Haar-Rendering-Technologie im Rahmen des Projekts <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/TressFX\">TressFX<\/a><\/noindex>, das Direct3D verwendet, gearbeitet. Im Rahmen des Projekts VKHR wurde die genannte Technologie vollst\u00e4ndig auf Vulkan umgeschrieben und mit der Simulation von Lichtstreuung, Schattenerzeugung und Transparenz erweitert, die unter Verwendung von GLSL-Shadern umgesetzt wurde. VKHR umfasst ein integriertes Ray-Tracing-System, das auf der Bibliothek <noindex>Embree<\/noindex> von Intel. F\u00fcr die Gl\u00e4ttung wird eine schnelle lineare Transformation verwendet, w\u00e4hrend eine schnelle Voxel-Datenstruktur zur Erzeugung des Volumeneffekts dient.
