Steve Langasek von Canonical erz\u00e4hlte<\/a><\/noindex> Die Absicht, den Benutzern zuk\u00fcnftiger Ubuntu-Versionen die Verwendung von Bibliotheken f\u00fcr die 32-Bit-Architektur x86 zu erm\u00f6glichen, indem diese Bibliotheken aus Ubuntu 18.04 \u00fcbernommen werden. Es wird festgehalten, dass die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr i386-Bibliotheken fortgesetzt wird, aber auf dem Stand von Ubuntu 18.04 eingefroren wird. <\/p>\n

Somit k\u00f6nnen Benutzer von Ubuntu 19.10 die ben\u00f6tigten Bibliotheken installieren, um 32-Bit-Anwendungen und -Spiele mindestens bis zum Ende der Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Ubuntu 18.04-Version, f\u00fcr die Updates bis April 2023 bereitgestellt werden (gegen Geb\u00fchr bis 2028), auszuf\u00fchren. Die Bibliotheken k\u00f6nnen direkt aus dem Repository von Ubuntu 18.04 installiert werden, in das im Rahmen der Aktualisierung des Grafik-Stacks in der LTS-Zweig einige Zeit lang Versionen von Mesa aus den aktuellen Ubuntu-Versionen \u00fcbernommen werden, was teilweise das Problem einer m\u00f6glichen Inkompatibilit\u00e4t von 32-Bit-Grafikbibliotheken mit der neuen Systemumgebung und den Treibern l\u00f6sen wird. <\/p>\n

Wir erinnern uns, dass die Vertreter von Canonical urspr\u00fcnglich erw\u00e4hnt haben<\/a><\/noindex> nur die M\u00f6glichkeit des Betriebs von 32-Bit-Anwendungen in Ubuntu 19.10+ unter Verwendung von Containern mit der Umgebung von Ubuntu 18.04 oder Snap-Paketen im Runtime core18, und erkl\u00e4rt haben, dass die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die direkte Verwendung von 32-Bit-Bibliotheken ab Ubuntu 19.10 eingestellt wird. In der Folge tauchte<\/a><\/noindex> wurde die Unm\u00f6glichkeit der Verwendung von Wine in der aktuellen Form ohne 32-Bit-Bibliotheken aufgrund der Unfertigkeit der 64-Bit-Version von Wine festgestellt. Es stellte sich auch heraus, dass einige Linux-Treiber f\u00fcr Drucker nur in 32-Bit-Bauten verf\u00fcgbar bleiben.
