In Chrome 82 ist geplant, den Code und die Ressourcen, die f\u00fcr die Funktionsweise des FTP-Clients verwendet werden, vollst\u00e4ndig zu entfernen.<\/p>\n<p>Die schrittweise Reduzierung der Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr FTP begann in Chrome 63, in dem<br \/>\n Der Zugriff auf Ressourcen \u00fcber das FTP-Protokoll wird seit Chrome 72 als unsichere Verbindung markiert. In Chrome 72 wurde die Anzeige von Inhalten, die \u00fcber das Protokoll &#171;ftp:\/\/&#187; geladen werden (zum Beispiel die Anzeige von HTML-Dokumenten und README-Dateien), im Browserfenster deaktiviert und die Verwendung von FTP beim Laden von Subressourcen aus Dokumenten untersagt. In Chrome 74 kam es aufgrund eines Fehlers zu einem Ausfall des FTP-Zugriffs \u00fcber HTTP-Proxy, und in Chrome 76 wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung von Proxy f\u00fcr FTP entfernt. Derzeit sind weiterhin der Download von Dateien \u00fcber direkte Links und die Anzeige von Verzeichnisinhalten funktionsf\u00e4hig.<\/p>\n<p>Laut Google wird FTP inzwischen kaum noch verwendet \u2013 der Anteil der FTP-Nutzer liegt bei etwa 0,1%. Dieses Protokoll ist auch aufgrund der fehlenden Verschl\u00fcsselung des Traffics unsicher. Die Unterst\u00fctzung von FTPS (FTP \u00fcber SSL) wird in Chrome nicht realisiert, und das Unternehmen sieht keinen Sinn darin, den FTP-Client im Browser weiterzuentwickeln, da er ungenutzt bleibt; zudem beabsichtigt man nicht, die unsichere Implementierung (im Hinblick auf das Fehlen von Verschl\u00fcsselungen) weiter zu pflegen. Falls der Download von Daten \u00fcber das FTP-Protokoll erforderlich ist, werden die Benutzer aufgefordert, Drittanbieter-FTP-Clients zu verwenden \u2013 beim Versuch, Links \u00fcber das Protokoll
