Enlightenment ist sehr flexibel in der Anpassung nach den eigenen Vorlieben: Grafische Konfiguratoren schr\u00e4nken den Benutzer nicht in den Einstellungen ein und erm\u00f6glichen es, alle Aspekte der Arbeit anzupassen, indem sowohl hochgradige Mittel (\u00c4nderung der Gestaltung, Anpassung virtueller Desktops, Verwaltung von Schriftarten, Bildschirmaufl\u00f6sung, Tastaturlayout, Lokalisierung usw.) als auch M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr die tiefere Feinabstimmung bereitgestellt werden (zum Beispiel k\u00f6nnen die Cache-Einstellungen, die Grafikbeschleunigung, der Energieverbrauch und die Logik des Fenstermanagers konfiguriert werden).<\/p>\n<p>Um die Funktionalit\u00e4t zu erweitern, werden Module (Widgets) angeboten, und f\u00fcr die \u00dcberarbeitung des Erscheinungsbildes stehen Designs zur Verf\u00fcgung. Insbesondere sind Module verf\u00fcgbar, die auf dem Desktop einen Kalender-Planer, Wettervorhersagen, Monitoring, Lautst\u00e4rkeregelung, Akku-Ladezustand usw. anzeigen. Die Komponenten von Enlightenment sind nicht strikt miteinander verbunden und k\u00f6nnen in anderen Projekten oder zur Erstellung spezieller Umgebungen, wie z.B.
