Alexander Larsson, Entwickler von Flatpak und aktives Mitglied der GNOME-Community, ver\u00f6ffentlichte<\/a><\/noindex> die zweite Ausgabe des Projekts Gthree<\/a><\/noindex>, das die Portierung der 3D-Bibliothek three.js<\/a><\/noindex> f\u00fcr GObject und GTK vorantreibt, die praktisch zur Hinzuf\u00fcgung von 3D-Effekten in GNOME-Anwendungen verwendet werden kann. Die Gthree-API ist nahezu identisch mit three.js, einschlie\u00dflich des implementierten Ladeprogramms glTF<\/a><\/noindex> (GL Transmission Format) und der M\u00f6glichkeit, Materialien auf Basis von PBR (Physically Based Rendering) in Modellen zu verwenden. F\u00fcr das Rendering wird nur OpenGL unterst\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n

In der neuen Version wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Klasse Raycaster<\/a><\/noindex> mit der gleichnamigen Rendering-Methode hinzugef\u00fcgt<\/a><\/noindex>, die verwendet werden kann, um festzustellen, \u00fcber welchen Objekten im 3D-Raum sich die Maus befindet (z. B. um 3D-Objekte aus der Szene mit der Maus zu erfassen).
