Beispielsweise kann der Benutzer eine Videosammlung zum Streamen auf einem SmartTV freigeben;\n<li class=\"l\"> Im auf Wayland basierenden Umfeld wurde die M\u00f6glichkeit geschaffen, X11-Anwendungen mit Root-Rechten unter Xwayland auszuf\u00fchren;\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Technologie zum Schutz von drahtlosen Netzwerken wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=48854\">WPA3<\/a><\/noindex>;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Der Linux-Kernel wurde auf die Version <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51447\">5.3<\/a><\/noindex>. Zur Kompression des Linux-Kernels und des initialen Boot-Abbilds initramf <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51465\">wurde<\/a><\/noindex> der LZ4-Algorithmus aktiviert, was die Bootzeit durch schnellere Dekompression der Daten verk\u00fcrzt. Das in Ubuntu 19.10 angebotene Kernel-Paket <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/bugs.launchpad.net\/ubuntu\/eoan\/+source\/linux\/+bug\/1847478\">enth\u00e4lt<\/a><\/noindex> eine nicht behobene Schwachstelle im IPv6-Stack, die es einem nicht privilegierten lokalen Angreifer erm\u00f6glicht, den Kernel zum Absturz zu bringen.\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Toolchain wurde auf glibc 2.30, GCC 9.2, OpenJDK 11, rustc 1.37, Python 3.7.5, ruby 2.5.5, php 7.3.8, perl 5.28.1, go 1.12.10 aktualisiert. Pakete mit MySQL 8.0 wurden hinzugef\u00fcgt;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Das B\u00fcro-Paket LibreOffice wurde auf die Version <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51243\">6.3<\/a><\/noindex>aktualisiert. Der Soundserver PulseAudio wurde auf die Version <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51483\">13.0<\/a><\/noindex>aktualisiert. QEMU 4.0, libvirt 5.6, dpdk 18.11.2, Open vSwitch 2.12, cloud-init 19.2 wurden aktualisiert;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Cross-Kompilierung wurde verbessert \u2013 das Toolset f\u00fcr die ARCHITEKTUREN POWER und AArch64 unterst\u00fctzt jetzt die Cross-Kompilierung f\u00fcr die Plattformen ARM, S390X und RISCV64;\n<li class=\"l\"> Alle Pakete wurden mit GCC unter der Option \u201e-fstack-clash-protection\u201c neu kompiliert, bei der der Compiler Pr\u00fcfaufrufe (probe) bei jeder statischen oder dynamischen Speicherzuweisung f\u00fcr den Stack einf\u00fcgt, die es erm\u00f6glichen, \u00dcberlaufereignisse auf dem Stack zu erkennen und Angriffsvektoren, die auf der \u00dcberlappung von Stack und Heap basieren, durch Umleitungen des Programms \u00fcber die Guard-Seiten des Stackschutzes zu blockieren. Zus\u00e4tzlich wurde bei der Erstellung die Technik zur Kontrolle des Flussintegrit\u00e4ts (Control Flow Integrity, CFI) implementiert, die dazu dient, einige Formen von undefiniertem Verhalten zu erkennen, die potenziell zu einer Unterbrechung des normalen Kontrollflusses durch die Ausf\u00fchrung von Exploits f\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> F\u00fcr Systeme mit Intel-GPU wurde ein flimmerfreier Lade-Modus beim Wechsel der Video-Modi bereitgestellt;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> In die Installations-ISO-Images wurden in Abstimmung mit der Firma NVIDIA <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50731\">aufgenommen<\/a><\/noindex> Pakete mit propriet\u00e4ren NVIDIA-Treibern. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurden im Distribution auch Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Verbesserung der Startstabilit\u00e4t bei Verwendung des propriet\u00e4ren NVIDIA-Treibers sowie zur Optimierung der Leistung und der Rendering-Qualit\u00e4t auf Systemen mit NVIDIA-Grafikkarten unternommen;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50881\">Die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die veraltete API WebVR 1.1 wurde eingestellt, stattdessen kann die API<\/a><\/noindex> Die Lieferung von deb-Paketen mit dem Browser Chromium, anstelle dessen nun nur eigenst\u00e4ndige Images im Snap-Format angeboten werden;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Im Repository <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50950\">wurde eingestellt<\/a><\/noindex>  die Verbreitung von Paketen f\u00fcr die 32-Bit-Architektur x86. F\u00fcr die Ausf\u00fchrung von 32-Bit-Anwendungen in einer 64-Bit-Umgebung wird der Aufbau und die Bereitstellung eines separaten Satzes von 32-Bit-Paketen sichergestellt, die die erforderlichen Komponenten f\u00fcr den Betrieb von veralteten Programmen, die nur in 32-Bit vorliegen oder 32-Bit-Bibliotheken ben\u00f6tigen, enthalten;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Im Installer <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/popey\/status\/1181547646378500096\">hinzugef\u00fcgt<\/a><\/noindex> experimentellen <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51270\">die M\u00f6glichkeit<\/a><\/noindex> Installationen auf der Root-Partition mit ZFS. F\u00fcr das ZFS-Management wird ein neuer Daemon entwickelt  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ubuntu\/zsys\">zsys<\/a><\/noindex>, der das Starten mehrerer paralleler Systeme mit ZFS auf einem Computer erm\u00f6glicht, automatisiert das Erstellen von Snapshots und verwaltet die Verteilung von Systemdaten und ver\u00e4nderbaren Benutzerdaten w\u00e4hrend der Sitzung. Die Grundidee ist, dass verschiedene Snapshots unterschiedliche Zust\u00e4nde des Systems enthalten k\u00f6nnen, zwischen denen gewechselt werden kann. Zum Beispiel kann im Falle von Problemen nach der Installation von Updates zu einem alten stabilen Zustand zur\u00fcckgekehrt werden, indem ein \u00e4lterer Snapshot ausgew\u00e4hlt wird.
