Der Sch\u00f6pfer der Programmiersprache Python, der in den letzten sechseinhalb Jahren bei Dropbox t\u00e4tig war, geht in den Ruhestand.<\/p>\n

In diesen 6,5 Jahren hat Guido an Python gearbeitet und die Entwicklungskultur von Dropbox gepr\u00e4gt, die sich im \u00dcbergang von einem Startup zu einem gro\u00dfen Unternehmen befand: Er war Mentor und hat Entwickler darin unterst\u00fctzt, klaren Code zu schreiben und diesen umfassend zu testen. Au\u00dferdem hat er einen Plan zur Migration des Codebestands auf Python 3 erstellt und mit dessen Umsetzung begonnen. <\/p>\n

Er war auch in die Entwicklung von mypy involviert \u2013 einem statischen Analyzer f\u00fcr Python-Code, der urspr\u00fcnglich von einem anderen Mitarbeiter von Dropbox entwickelt wurde, den Guido eingestellt hat.<\/p>\n

Dar\u00fcber hinaus war er ein aktiver Teil der Bewegung zur F\u00f6rderung von Frauen in der IT.<\/p>\n
