Unity 8 nutzt die Qt5-Bibliothek und den Mir-Anzeigeserver, der als kompositorischer Server auf Basis von Wayland fungiert. In Kombination mit der mobilen Umgebung Ubuntu Touch k\u00f6nnte der Unity 8 Desktop f\u00fcr die Implementierung des Convergence-Modus n\u00fctzlich werden, der ein adaptives Umfeld f\u00fcr mobile Ger\u00e4te schafft und bei Anschluss an einen Monitor einen vollwertigen Desktop bereitstellt, wodurch das Smartphone oder Tablet in eine tragbare Arbeitsstation verwandelt wird. <\/p>\n
