Ein Projekt zur Entwicklung eines freien automatisierten Entwurfsystems f\u00fcr Leiterplatten KiCad<\/a><\/noindex>, \u00fcbernommen wurde<\/a><\/noindex> unter der Schirmherrschaft der Linux Foundation. Die Entwickler erwarten<\/a><\/noindex>, dass die Entwicklung unter der Schirmherrschaft der Linux Foundation zus\u00e4tzliche Ressourcen f\u00fcr das Projekt gewinnen und die M\u00f6glichkeit bieten wird, neue Dienste zu entwickeln, die nicht direkt mit der Entwicklung verbunden sind. Die Linux Foundation, als neutrale Plattform zur Zusammenarbeit mit Herstellern, wird ebenfalls dazu beitragen, neue Teilnehmer f\u00fcr das Projekt zu gewinnen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wird KiCad an der Initiative CommunityBridge<\/a><\/noindex>teilnehmen, die darauf abzielt, die Zusammenarbeit von Open-Source-Entwicklern mit Unternehmen und Privatpersonen zu organisieren, die bereit sind, bestimmten Entwicklern oder wichtigen Projekten finanzielle Unterst\u00fctzung zu bieten. <\/p>\n

KiCad bietet Werkzeuge zum Bearbeiten von elektrischen Schaltungen und Leiterplatten, zur 3D-Visualisierung der Platine, zum Arbeiten mit einer Bibliothek von Elementen elektrischer Schaltungen und zur Manipulation von Vorlagen im Format Gerber<\/a><\/noindex> und zum Projektmanagement. Verf\u00fcgbar f\u00fcr wurden vorbereitet<\/a><\/noindex> Windows, macOS und verschiedene Linux-Distributionen. Der Code ist in C++ unter Verwendung der wxWidgets-Bibliothek geschrieben und wird verbreitet<\/a><\/noindex> steht unter der GPLv3-Lizenz. Nach Angaben einiger Hersteller von Leiterplatten gehen etwa 15 % der Bestellungen mit bereitgestellten Schaltpl\u00e4nen ein, die in KiCad erstellt wurden.<\/p>\n
