Vorstellung<\/a><\/noindex> Ver\u00f6ffentlichung der Werkzeuge GNU Mes 0.21<\/a><\/noindex>, das den Bootstrapping-Prozess (Bootstrap) f\u00fcr GCC erm\u00f6glicht. Das Werkzeug l\u00f6st das Problem des verifizierten Anfangsbaus des Compilers in Distributionen, indem es die Kette der zyklischen Neubauten durchbricht (zum Bauen des Compilers werden Executables eines bereits gebauten Compilers ben\u00f6tigt). <\/p>\n

In GNU Mes angeboten<\/a><\/noindex> ein selbstgen\u00fcgsamer (self-hosting) Interpreter f\u00fcr die Programmiersprache Scheme, geschrieben in C, und ein einfachster Compiler f\u00fcr die Programmiersprache C (MesCC), geschrieben in Scheme. Beide Komponenten sind gegenseitig compilierbar. Der Scheme-Interpreter erm\u00f6glicht es, den C-Compiler MesCC zu bauen, der dann eine abgespeckte Version des Compilers TinyCC<\/a><\/noindex> (tcc) bereitstellt, dessen Funktionen bereits ausreichend sind, um GCC zu bauen. <\/p>\n

Im neuen Release gibt es die M\u00f6glichkeit teilweises<\/a><\/noindex> (Reduced Binary Seed) Bootstrapping der Distribution Guix unter Verwendung der Shell Gash<\/a><\/noindex> (Guile as Shell) anstelle von bash und Gash Core Utils anstelle von coreutils, grep, sed, gzip, make, awk und tar, indem nur Komponenten in Scheme verwendet werden. In der neuen Version wurde auch ein Paket mit Mes f\u00fcr Debian GNU\/Linux vorbereitet.<\/p>\n

In den kommenden Releases wird die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Bootstrapping f\u00fcr NixOS erwartet, die M\u00f6glichkeit zur Verwendung von dietlibc und uClibc f\u00fcr das Bootstrapping von GNU (bash, binutils, gcc, tar), die Unterst\u00fctzung der ARM-Architektur, der Distribution Debian und des Kernels GNU Hurd sowie die M\u00f6glichkeit, Mes.c zu kompilieren, erwartet.
