Bochs unterst\u00fctzt die CPU-Emulation auf der Basis der x86-Architektur, von i386 bis zu aktuellen x86-64-Modellen von Intel und AMD, einschlie\u00dflich der Emulation verschiedener Prozessorerweiterungen (VMX, SSE, AES, AVX, SMP usw.), typischer Ein-\/Ausgabeger\u00e4te und Peripherieger\u00e4te (wie Grafikkarten-, Soundkarten-, Ethernet- und USB-Emulation). Unter dem Emulator k\u00f6nnen Betriebssysteme wie Linux, macOS, Android und Windows betrieben werden. Der Emulator ist in C++ geschrieben und <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/bochs\/files\/bochs\/2.6.10\/\">wird unter der GPLv3-Lizenz bereitgestellt.<\/a><\/noindex> unter der LGPLv2-Lizenz verf\u00fcgbar.
