Die spezialisierte Linux-Distribution CAINE 11.0 wurde ver\u00f6ffentlicht, die f\u00fcr die Durchf\u00fchrung von forensischen Analysen und der Suche nach versteckten Informationen gedacht ist. Diese Live-Version basiert auf Ubuntu 18.04, unterst\u00fctzt UEFI Secure Boot und wird mit dem Linux-Kernel 5.0 ausgeliefert.<\/p>\n

Die Distribution erm\u00f6glicht die Analyse von Restinformationen nach einem Hack auf Unix- und Windows-Systemen. Sie enth\u00e4lt eine Vielzahl von Tools f\u00fcr die Arbeit. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das spezialisierte Tool WinTaylor zur Analyse des Betriebssystems aus Redmond.
\nUnter den weiteren Tools sind GtkHash, Air, SSdeep, HDSentinel, Bulk Extractor, Fiwalk, ByteInvestigator, Autopsy, Foremost, Scalpel, Sleuthkit, Guymager, DC3DD sowie Skripte f\u00fcr den Dateimanager Caja zu erw\u00e4hnen, die die Pr\u00fcfung aller Komponenten des Dateisystems erm\u00f6glichen, einschlie\u00dflich der Partitionen, der Windows-Registry, der Metadaten und gel\u00f6schter Dateien.<\/p>\n

Das neue System unterst\u00fctzt standardm\u00e4\u00dfig das Montieren von Partitionen nur im Nur-Lese-Modus. Zudem wurde die Bootzeit der Distribution verk\u00fcrzt, und das Boot-Image kann im RAM kopiert werden. Es wurden Tools hinzugef\u00fcgt, um Daten aus Speicherdumps und Restinformationen aus Disk-Images zu extrahieren.<\/p>\n
