Bei der asynchronen Implementierung ist es nicht erforderlich, auf den Abschluss von DISCARD durch das Speichermedium w\u00e4hrend des normalen Betriebs des Dateisystems zu warten, was das Problem l\u00f6st und diese Operation in den Hintergrund verlagert. Die vorgestellte Implementierung f\u00fchrt au\u00dferdem einige Optimierungen durch.
