Die gemeinn\u00fctzige Organisation Apache Software Foundation feiert<\/a><\/noindex> ihr 21-j\u00e4hriges Bestehen. Urspr\u00fcnglich wurde die Organisation zur rechtlichen und finanziellen Unterst\u00fctzung der Entwickler des Apache HTTP-Servers gegr\u00fcndet, hat sich jedoch sp\u00e4ter zu einer neutralen und unabh\u00e4ngigen Plattform f\u00fcr die Entwicklung einer breiten Palette von Open-Source-Projekten entwickelt, die die Apache-Lizenz, allgemeine Entwicklungsrichtlinien, Prinzipien der Meritokratie und eine einheitliche Kommunikationskultur anwenden.
\nGleichzeitig wird das 25-j\u00e4hrige Bestehen des Apache HTTP-Servers httpd, 21 Jahre der B\u00fcro-Software Apache OpenOffice und 20 Jahre Apache Jakarta, Subversion und Tomcat gefeiert.<\/p>\n

Die Anzahl der im Rahmen von Apache entwickelten Projekte hat 350 \u00fcberschritten (davon 45 im Inkubator) und umfasst Bereiche wie maschinelles Lernen, Big Data-Verarbeitung, Build-Management, Cloud-Systeme, Content-Management, DevOps, IoT, Entwicklung von mobilen Anwendungen, Serversysteme und Web-Frameworks.
\nDie Entwicklung wird von \u00fcber 7600 Committern betreut. Die Anzahl der Teilnehmer, die die Stiftung unterst\u00fctzen, ist in 21 Jahren von 21 auf 765 gestiegen. Der Gesamte Wert der Entwicklung von 300 Apache-Projekten mit mehr als 200 Millionen Codezeilen wird auf 20 Milliarden Dollar gesch\u00e4tzt, basierend auf dem COCOMO 2-Kostenmodell. <\/p>\n
