Der Quelltext der Pakete kann von <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/git.centos.org\/\">Git-Repository<\/a><\/noindex> des CentOS-Projekts heruntergeladen werden. <\/p>\n<p>Der RHEL 7.x-Zweig wird parallel zum Zweig <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50644\">RHEL 8.x<\/a><\/noindex> unterst\u00fctzt und bleibt bis Juni 2024 aktiv. Die erste Phase der Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr den RHEL 7.x-Zweig, die funktionale Verbesserungen beinhaltete, ist abgeschlossen. Die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von RHEL 7.8 markierte <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/access.redhat.com\/support\/policy\/updates\/errata\">der Wechsel<\/a><\/noindex> den \u00dcbergang zur Wartungsphase, in der der Fokus auf Fehlerbehebungen und Sicherheitsupdates liegt, mit nur geringf\u00fcgigen Verbesserungen zur Unterst\u00fctzung wichtiger Hardware-Systeme. F\u00fcr Interessierte, die auf den neuen Zweig wechseln m\u00f6chten, wird nach der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2 den Nutzern die M\u00f6glichkeit gegeben, das System von Enterprise Linux 7.8 zu aktualisieren.<\/p>\n<p>Die auff\u00e4lligsten <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/access.redhat.com\/documentation\/en-us\/red_hat_enterprise_linux\/7\/html-single\/7.8_release_notes\/index\">\u00c4nderungen<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Benutzeroberfl\u00e4che zum Wechseln virtueller Arbeitsfl\u00e4chen in der GNOME Classic-Umgebung wurde ge\u00e4ndert; der Schalter wurde in die untere rechte Ecke verschoben und als Leiste mit Miniaturansichten gestaltet.\n<li class=\"l\"> Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr neue Linux-Kernel-Parameter hinzugef\u00fcgt (haupts\u00e4chlich im Zusammenhang mit der Verwaltung des Schutzes vor neuen Angriffen auf die Spekulationsausf\u00fchrung des CPUs): audit, audit_backlog_limit, ipcmni_extend, nospectre_v1, tsx, tsx_async_abort, mitigations.\n<li class=\"l\"> F\u00fcr Gastbetriebssysteme mit Windows, die ActivClient-Treiber verwenden, wurde die M\u00f6glichkeit zur gemeinsamen Nutzung von Smartcards implementiert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Das Paket samba 4.10.4 wurde aktualisiert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Eine Implementierung des SHA-2-Algorithmus wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt, die f\u00fcr IBM PowerPC-Prozessoren optimiert ist.\n<li class=\"l\"> In OpenJDK wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Verschl\u00fcsselung mit elliptischen Kurven secp256k1 hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Vollst\u00e4ndige Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr SAS-Adapter von Aero (Treiber mpt3sas und megaraid_sas) wurde gew\u00e4hrleistet.\n<li class=\"l\"> Ein EDAC (Error Detection and Correction)-Treiber f\u00fcr Intel ICX-Systeme wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die M\u00f6glichkeit, Partitionen mit dem FUSE-Mechanismus in Benutzernamen-R\u00e4umen (user namespacing) zu mounten, wurde implementiert, was z. B. die Verwendung des Befehls fuse-overlayfs in Containern ohne Root erm\u00f6glicht.\n<li class=\"l\"> Das Limit f\u00fcr die Anzahl der IPC-Identifikatoren (ipcmin_extend) wurde von 32.000 auf 16 Millionen erh\u00f6ht.\n<li class=\"l\"> Vollst\u00e4ndige Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Intel Omni-Path-Architektur (OPA) wurde gew\u00e4hrleistet.\n<li class=\"l\"> Eine neue Rolle \u201estorage\u201c (RHEL System Roles) wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt, die zur Verwaltung des lokalen Speichers (Dateisysteme, LVM-Volumes und logische Partitionen) mit Ansible verwendet werden kann.\n<li class=\"l\"> In SELinux ist es jetzt Benutzern der Gruppe sysadm_u erlaubt, eine grafische Sitzung zu starten.\n<li class=\"l\"> Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr DIF\/DIX (Data Integrity Field\/Data Integrity Extension) wurde f\u00fcr einige Hostadapter der Busarchitektur (HBA) hinzugef\u00fcgt. Trusted Network Connect, SECCOMP in libreswan, USBGuard, blk-mq, YUM 4, USB 3.0 in KVM, No-IOMMU f\u00fcr VFIO, Umwandlung von Debian- und Ubuntu-Images \u00fcber virt-v2v, OVMF (Open Virtual Machine Firmware), systemd-importd, DAX (Direkter Zugriff auf die FS ohne Anwendung der Seitenablage) in ext4 und XFS, Start des GNOME-Desktops mit Wayland und fractional Scaling in GNOME bereitgestellt.\n<li
