Es wurde ein neues Design f\u00fcr das Systemmen\u00fc und das Anwendungsmen\u00fc vorgeschlagen. Die CPU-Belastung wurde gesenkt und die Verz\u00f6gerungen beim Rendern von Animationen beim Umgang mit Fenstern, beim Bewegen der Maus und beim \u00d6ffnen des \u00dcbersichtsmodus reduziert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr eine 10-Bit-Farbentiefe wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt.\n<li class=\"l\"> F\u00fcr X11 wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr fractionscale implementiert, die zuvor nur bei der Verwendung von Wayland verf\u00fcgbar war. Diese Funktion erm\u00f6glicht es, die optimale Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Elemente auf Bildschirmen mit hoher Pixeldichte (HiDPI) auszuw\u00e4hlen, sodass Benutzer die Benutzeroberfl\u00e4chenelemente beispielsweise um den Faktor 1,5 anstatt um den Faktor 2 vergr\u00f6\u00dfern k\u00f6nnen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Ein neuer Bildschirmschoner wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt, der beim Booten angezeigt wird.\n<li class=\"l\"> Der Linux-Kernel wurde auf die Version <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51881\">5.4<\/a><\/noindex>. Wie bereits in der Herbstver\u00f6ffentlichung wird f\u00fcr die Komprimierung des Kernels und des initramfs-Startabbildes der Algorithmus LZ4 verwendet, der die Bootzeit durch schnellere Datenextraktion verk\u00fcrzt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Systemkomponenten und Entwicklungstools wurden aktualisiert: Glibc 2.31, BlueZ 5.53, OpenJDK 11, rustc 1.41, GCC 9.3, Python 3.8.2, ruby 2.7.0, Ruby on Rails 5.2.3, php 7.4, perl 5.30, go 1.13.\n<li class=\"l\"> Benutzer- und Grafik-Anwendungen wurden aktualisiert:<br \/>\n Mesa 20.0, PulseAudio 14.0-pre, Firefox 74.0, Thunderbird 68.6.0, LibreOffice 6.4 <\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Anwendungen f\u00fcr Server und Virtualisierung wurden aktualisiert:<br \/>\nQEMU 4.2, libvirt 6.0, Bind 9.16, HAProxy 2.0, OpenSSH 8.2 (mit Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr FIDO\/U2F Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierungstoken). In Apache httpd wurde die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr TLSv1.3 aktiviert. Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr VPN WireGuard wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt.<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Der Demon zur Synchronisierung der genauen Zeit chrony wurde auf Version 3.5 aktualisiert und zus\u00e4tzlich vom System durch den Anschluss eines Systemaufruf-Filters isoliert.\n<li class=\"l\"> Die Entwicklung der experimentellen M\u00f6glichkeit zur Installation auf der Root-Partition mit ZFS wurde fortgesetzt. Die Implementierung von ZFSonLinux wurde auf die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung aktualisiert. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50730\">0.8.3<\/a><\/noindex> mit Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Verschl\u00fcsselung, Hot-Swap von Ger\u00e4ten, dem Befehl &#171;zpool trim&#187;, der Beschleunigung der Befehle &#171;scrub&#187; und &#171;resilver&#187; erstellt. F\u00fcr die Verwaltung von ZFS wird der Daemon zsys entwickelt, der es erm\u00f6glicht, mehrere parallele Systeme mit ZFS auf einem Computer zu betreiben, die Erstellung von Snapshots zu automatisieren und die Trennung von System- und ver\u00e4nderlichen Benutzerdaten w\u00e4hrend der Sitzung zu steuern. Verschiedene Snapshots k\u00f6nnen unterschiedliche Systemzust\u00e4nde enthalten und es ist m\u00f6glich, zwischen ihnen zu wechseln. Zum Beispiel kann bei Problemen nach der Installation von Updates auf einen alten stabilen Zustand zur\u00fcckgekehrt werden, indem ein fr\u00fcherer Snapshot ausgew\u00e4hlt wird. Snapshots k\u00f6nnen auch zur transparenten, automatischen Erstellung von Sicherungskopien von Benutzerdaten verwendet werden.\n<li class=\"l\"> Im Vergleich zur vorherigen LTS-Version hat der Snap Store Ubuntu-software als Standardtool zum Suchen und Installieren von normalen und Snap-Paketen ersetzt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Der Bau von Paketen f\u00fcr die Architektur i386 wurde eingestellt. Um die Funktionalit\u00e4t veralteter Programme, die nur in 32-Bit vorliegen oder 32-Bit-Bibliotheken ben\u00f6tigen, weiterhin zu gew\u00e4hrleisten, wird der Bau und die Bereitstellung <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51946\">eines separaten Sets<\/a><\/noindex> von 32-Bit-Paketen mit Bibliotheken bereitgestellt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Im <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.ubuntu.com\/FocalFossa\/Beta\/Kubuntu\">Kubuntu<\/a><\/noindex>   Der Desktop KDE Plasma 5.18, das Anwendungsset KDE Applications 19.12.3 und das Framework Qt 5.12.5 wurden angeboten. Der Budgie-Desktop wurde auf Version 10.5.1 aktualisiert. Einstellungen f\u00fcr das Gl\u00e4tten und die Hinting von Schriften wurden hinzugef\u00fcgt.
