Die Version 4.0 geh\u00f6rt zu den Langzeitversionen, f\u00fcr die Updates \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von 5 Jahren bereitgestellt werden.<\/p>\n<p>LXC ist eine Laufzeitumgebung zur Ausf\u00fchrung sowohl von Systemcontainern als auch von Anwendungscontainern (OCI). LXC umfasst die Bibliothek liblxc, eine Sammlung von Dienstprogrammen (lxc-create, lxc-start, lxc-stop, lxc-ls usw.), Vorlagen zum Erstellen von Containern sowie Bindungen f\u00fcr verschiedene Programmiersprachen. Die Isolation erfolgt durch die integrierten Mechanismen des Linux-Kernels. F\u00fcr die Isolation von Prozessen, Netzwerkstacks, IPC, UTS, Benutzer-IDs und Mount-Punkten wird der Namespaces-Mechanismus verwendet. Ressourcenbeschr\u00e4nkungen werden durch cgroups vorgenommen. Zur Herabsetzung von Rechten und zur Zugangsbeschr\u00e4nkung kommen Funktionen des Kernels wie AppArmor- und SELinux-Profile, Seccomp-Richtlinien, Chroots (pivot_root) und Capabilities zum Einsatz. Der LXC-Code <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/lxc\/lxc\">ist<\/a><\/noindex> in C geschrieben und wird unter der GPLv2-Lizenz verbreitet.<\/p>\n<p>LXD ist eine Erweiterung f\u00fcr LXC, CRIU und QEMU, die zur zentralen Verwaltung von Containern und virtuellen Maschinen auf einem oder mehreren Servern verwendet wird. W\u00e4hrend LXC ein Low-Level-Tool zur Manipulation einzelner Container ist, wird LXD als Hintergrundprozess implementiert, der Netzwerk-Anfragen \u00fcber eine REST-API entgegennimmt und das Erstellen skalierbarer Konfigurationen erm\u00f6glicht, die \u00fcber ein Cluster mehrerer Server bereitgestellt werden.<br \/>\nEs werden verschiedene Backend-Speicher unterst\u00fctzt (Verzeichnisbaum, ZFS, Btrfs, LVM), Snapshot-Funktionalit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Status-Abbilder, Live-Migration laufender Container von einer Maschine zur anderen und Tools zur Organisation von Abbildspeichern. Der LXD-Code <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/lxc\/lxd\">ist<\/a><\/noindex> ist in Go geschrieben und steht unter der Apache 2.0-Lizenz.<\/p>\n<p>Schl\u00fcssige <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/discuss.linuxcontainers.org\/t\/lxc-4-0-lts-has-been-released\/7182\">Verbesserungen<\/a><\/noindex> in LXC 4.0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Der Treiber f\u00fcr die Arbeit mit cgroup wurde vollst\u00e4ndig neu geschrieben. Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die einheitliche cgroup-Hierarchie (cgroup2) wurde hinzugef\u00fcgt.
