Verf\u00fcgbar<\/a><\/noindex> Ver\u00f6ffentlichung des Wi-Fi-Daemons IWD 1.8<\/a><\/noindex> (iNet Wireless Daemon), entwickelt von Intel als Alternative zu wpa_supplicant zur Anbindung von Linux-Systemen an drahtlose Netzwerke. IWD kann sowohl eigenst\u00e4ndig genutzt werden als auch als Backend f\u00fcr Netzwerk-Configurator wie Network Manager und ConnMan fungieren. Das Projekt eignet sich f\u00fcr den Einsatz in eingebetteten Ger\u00e4ten und ist f\u00fcr einen minimalen Verbrauch von Speicher und Speicherplatz optimiert. IWD verwendet keine externen Bibliotheken und greift ausschlie\u00dflich auf die Funktionen des standardm\u00e4\u00dfigen Linux-Kernels zur\u00fcck (f\u00fcr den Betrieb gen\u00fcgt der Linux-Kernel und Glibc). Es enth\u00e4lt eine eigene Implementierung eines DHCP-Clients und eine Reihe kryptografischer Funktionen<\/a><\/noindex>. Der Code des Projekts ist in C geschrieben und wird geliefert<\/a><\/noindex> unter der LGPLv2.1-lizenz.<\/p>\n

In in der neuen Version<\/a><\/noindex> unterst\u00fctzt die Technologie Wi-Fi Direct<\/a><\/noindex> (Wi-Fi P2P), die es erm\u00f6glicht, eine direkte drahtlose Verbindung zwischen Ger\u00e4ten ohne den Einsatz eines Access Points herzustellen. Fehler, die mit der Verarbeitung von FT AKM<\/a><\/noindex> (Authenticated Key Management Fast Transition), FILS<\/a><\/noindex> (Fast Initial Link Setup) und RSNE<\/a><\/noindex> (Robust Security Network Element) zusammenh\u00e4ngen, wurden behoben. Probleme im Handler f\u00fcr die automatische Verbindungsherstellung und in der Implementierung des schnellen Scans verf\u00fcgbarer Netzwerke wurden ebenfalls gel\u00f6st.<\/p>\n
