In der neuen Version wurden zahlreiche Verbesserungen vorgenommen, die die Unterst\u00fctzung von STARTTLS betreffen (z.B. die M\u00f6glichkeit zur Nutzung von Verschl\u00fcsselungsalgorithmen basierend auf elliptischen Kurven), das Logging wurde verbessert, neue Optionen f\u00fcr SSLEngine und SSLEnginePath zur Nutzung von OpenSSL wurden hinzugef\u00fcgt, und es wurde eine erste Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/DNS-based_Authentication_of_Named_Entities\">DANE<\/a><\/noindex> (DNS-basierte Authentifizierung benannter Entit\u00e4ten).
