Die Platine wird an den HDMI\/VGA- und USB-Anschluss des Servers angeschlossen, um ihn remote zu steuern, unabh\u00e4ngig vom Betriebssystem. Man kann den Server ein- und ausschalten oder neu starten, das BIOS konfigurieren und sogar das Betriebssystem vollst\u00e4ndig von einem geladenen Image neu installieren: Pi-KVM kann ein virtuelles CD-ROM-Laufwerk und einen USB-Stick emulieren.<\/p>\n<p>Die Anzahl der ben\u00f6tigten Teile neben der Raspberry Pi selbst ist minimal, was es erm\u00f6glicht, ihn in nur einer halben Stunde zusammenzustellen, und die Gesamtkosten werden selbst in der teuersten Konfiguration bei etwa 100 USD liegen (w\u00e4hrend viele propriet\u00e4re IP-KVM bei geringerer Funktionalit\u00e4t ab 500 USD und mehr kosten). Die Software, die auf die Platine installiert wird, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pikvm\/os\">Betriebssystem<\/a><\/noindex> basiert auf Arch Linux ARM.
