Einige Benutzer von RHEL 8 und CentOS 8 sind auf Problemen<\/a><\/noindex> nach der Installation des gestrigen Updates f\u00fcr den GRUB2-Bootloader gesto\u00dfen, das kritischen Sicherheitsanf\u00e4lligkeit<\/a><\/noindex>. Die Probleme \u00e4u\u00dfern sich in der Unm\u00f6glichkeit des Bootens nach der Installation des Updates, auch auf Systemen ohne UEFI Secure Boot. <\/p>\n

Auf einigen Systemen (z.B. HPE ProLiant XL230k Gen1 ohne UEFI Secure Boot) \u00e4u\u00dfert sich das Problem auch auf einer frisch installierten minimalen Konfiguration von RHEL 8.2. Nach dem Paketupdate und einem Neustart kommt es zu H\u00e4ngern und das GRUB-Men\u00fc wird gar nicht angezeigt. <\/p>\n

\u00c4hnliche Bootprobleme treten auf<\/a><\/noindex> f\u00fcr RHEL 7 und CentOS 7 sowie f\u00fcr Ubuntu<\/a><\/noindex> und Debian<\/a><\/noindex>. Benutzer sollten mit der Installation von Updates, die mit GRUB2 zusammenh\u00e4ngen, warten, bis die Situation gekl\u00e4rt ist. Sollte es nach dem Update zu Problemen beim Booten kommen — auf die vorherige Version des GRUB2-Pakets zur\u00fcckzukehren,<\/a><\/noindex> unter Verwendung eines bootf\u00e4higen Mediums zur Wiederherstellung. <\/p>\n
