Vorstellung<\/a><\/noindex> signifikanter Bibliotheksrelease libtorrent 2.0<\/a><\/noindex> (auch bekannt als libtorrent-rasterbar), bietet eine Implementierung des BitTorrent-Protokolls, die speichereffizient und CPU-belastend ist. Die Bibliothek wurde<\/a><\/noindex> in Torrent-Clients wie Deluge<\/a><\/noindex>, qBittorrent<\/a><\/noindex>, Folx<\/a><\/noindex>, Lince<\/a><\/noindex>, Miro<\/a><\/noindex> und Flush<\/a><\/noindex> (nicht zu verwechseln mit einer anderen Bibliothek libtorrent<\/a><\/noindex>, die in rTorrent verwendet wird). Der Code von libtorrent ist in C++ geschrieben und wird verbreitet<\/a><\/noindex> unter der BSD-Lizenz stehen.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr Magnetlinks zu Torrents mit SHA2-256-Hashes wurde ein neuer Pr\u00e4fix «urn:btmh:» vorgeschlagen (f\u00fcr SHA-1 und hybride Torrents wird «urn:btih:» verwendet).<\/p>\n

Auff\u00e4llig in den \u00c4nderungen von BitTorrent v2 ist auch der \u00dcbergang zur Bindung separater Hash-B\u00e4ume an jede Datei und die Anwendung der File Alignment nach Teilen (ohne zus\u00e4tzliche F\u00fcllung nach jeder Datei hinzuzuf\u00fcgen), was die Datenduplizierung bei identischen Dateien vermeidet und die Identifizierung verschiedener Quellen f\u00fcr Dateien vereinfacht. Die Effizienz der Kodierung der Verzeichnisstruktur in Torrents wurde erh\u00f6ht und es wurden Optimierungen zur Verarbeitung einer gro\u00dfen Anzahl von kleinen Dateien hinzugef\u00fcgt. <\/p>\n

Um das Zusammenleben von BitTorrent v1 und BitTorrent v2 zu erleichtern, wurde die M\u00f6glichkeit zur Erstellung hybrider Torrent-Dateien geschaffen, die neben Strukturen mit SHA-1-Hashes auch Indizes mit SHA2-256 enthalten.
\nDie genannten hybriden Torrents k\u00f6nnen mit Clients verwendet werden, die nur das Protokoll BitTorrent v1 unterst\u00fctzen. Die in libtorrent 2.0 erwartete Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr das WebTorrent-Protokoll wurde aufgrund ungel\u00f6ster Stabilit\u00e4tsprobleme verschoben<\/a><\/noindex> bis zur n\u00e4chsten signifikanten Ver\u00f6ffentlichung, die nicht vor Ende des Jahres erscheinen wird. <\/p>\n
