Besitzer des Mini-PCs Intel NUC7PJYH mit Intel Pentium J5005 Gemini Lake CPU haben nach dem BIOS-Update auf Version 0058 Probleme beim Betrieb von Linux und unix\u00e4hnlichen Betriebssystemen festgestellt. Bis zur Nutzung von BIOS 0057 gab es bei der Verwendung von Linux, FreeBSD und NetBSD keine Probleme (es gab ein separates Problem mit OpenBSD), aber nach dem Update auf BIOS Version 0058 kam es bei diesem Computer aufgrund eines ACPI-Problems zu einem Absturz bei der Nutzung von Linux und unix\u00e4hnlichen Betriebssystemen. Das lizenzierte Windows 10 lief auf diesem Computer einwandfrei. <\/p>\n

Im offiziellen Intel NUC Forum wurde im Januar 2021 ein Fehlerbericht ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Etwa zehn Nutzer best\u00e4tigten den Fehler, den sie nach dem Update erlebten. Intel hat die Version 0058 aus dem 'Software Download Center' entfernt und empfohlen, die Hardware auszutauschen oder auf ein BIOS-Update zu warten. Am 25. Februar 2021 wurde im Intel NUC Forum die Ank\u00fcndigung eines neuen BIOS gemacht, das derzeit nur einer begrenzten Anzahl von Beta-Testern zur Verf\u00fcgung steht. Sollte die Testgruppe das Problem best\u00e4tigen, wird die neue BIOS-Version bald f\u00fcr alle Interessierten verf\u00fcgbar sein.
