Linus Torvalds hat die Benutzer vor einem kritischen Problem gewarnt, das in der experimentellen Version des Kernels 5.12-rc1 entdeckt wurde. Insbesondere haben die in 5.12-rc1 vorgeschlagenen \u00c4nderungen die ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00dfe Funktion mit der Auslagerungsdatei gest\u00f6rt und zu einem Verlust der Versatzinformation der Auslagerungsdaten im Dateisystem gef\u00fchrt, was zu katastrophalen Ergebnissen gef\u00fchrt hat \u2013 der Inhalt des Dateisystems wurde mit zuf\u00e4lligen Auslagerungsdaten \u00fcberschrieben. Das Problem betrifft nur Systeme mit einer Auslagerungsdatei (swapfile) und tritt nicht auf, wenn eine separate Partition f\u00fcr die Auslagerung verwendet wird.
