Sie hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, eine Umgebung f\u00fcr die gemeinsame Entwicklung offener Hardware- und Softwarel\u00f6sungen zu schaffen, die mit der Verwendung von programmierbaren Logikbausteinen (FPGA - Field Programmable Gate Array) verbunden sind, die eine Neuprogrammierung der Logik nach der Herstellung des Chips erm\u00f6glichen. Die grundlegenden bin\u00e4ren Operationen (AND, NAND, OR, NOR und XOR) in solchen Chips werden durch logische Gatter (Schalter) realisiert, die \u00fcber mehrere Eing\u00e4nge und einen Ausgang verf\u00fcgen, deren Verbindungsanordnung programmatisch ge\u00e4ndert werden kann.      <\/p>\n<p>Zu den Gr\u00fcndern der OSFPGA geh\u00f6ren einige angesehene Forscher auf dem Gebiet der FPGA-Technologien, die f\u00fcr Unternehmen und Projekte wie EPFL, QuickLogic, Zero ASIC und GSG Group stehen. Unter der Schirmherrschaft der neuen Organisation wird ein Satz offener und kostenloser Werkzeuge f\u00fcr die schnelle Erstellung von Prototypen auf der Basis von FPGA-Chips entwickelt sowie die Unterst\u00fctzung von elektronischen Designautomatisierungswerkzeugen (EDA). Die Organisation wird auch die gemeinsame Entwicklung offener Standards im Zusammenhang mit FPGAs beaufsichtigen und den Unternehmen eine neutrale Plattform f\u00fcr den Austausch von Erfahrungen und Technologien bieten.      <\/p>\n<p>Es wird erwartet, dass die Aktivit\u00e4ten der OSFPGA es den Chip-Herstellern erm\u00f6glichen, einige Ingenieurprozesse bei der Herstellung von FPGAs abzulehnen, die Entwickler von Endl\u00f6sungen einen fertigen anpassbaren Software-Stack f\u00fcr FPGAs erhalten und die gemeinsame Arbeit an der Schaffung neuer hochwertiger Architekturen etabliert wird. Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass die von der OSFPGA bereitgestellten offenen Werkzeuge h\u00f6chste Qualit\u00e4tsstandards bieten, die den Anforderungen der Industrienorm entsprechen oder diese \u00fcbertreffen.    <\/p>\n<p>Die Hauptziele der Open-Source FPGA Foundation:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Bereitstellung von Ressourcen und Infrastruktur f\u00fcr die Entwicklung eines Werkzeugsets im Zusammenhang mit Hardware- und Software-Ausr\u00fcstungen f\u00fcr FPGAs.\n<li class=\"l\"> F\u00f6rderung der Nutzung dieser Tools durch die Durchf\u00fchrung verschiedener Veranstaltungen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Gew\u00e4hrleistung von Unterst\u00fctzung, Weiterentwicklung und Offenheit des Werkzeugs f\u00fcr die Erforschung fortschrittlicher FPGA-Architekturen sowie verwandter Software- und Hardwareentwicklungen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Pflege eines \u00f6ffentlich zug\u00e4nglichen Katalogs von FPGA-Architekturen, Designtechnologien und Platinenkonstruktionen, die aus ver\u00f6ffentlichten Dokumenten und abgelaufenen Patenten entnommen wurden.\n<li class=\"l\"> Vorbereitung und Bereitstellung des Zugangs zu Schulungsmaterialien, die helfen, eine Gemeinschaft interessierter Entwickler zu bilden.\n<li class=\"l\"> Vereinfachung der Interaktion mit Chip-Herstellern, um die Kosten zu senken und die Test- und Verifizierungszeiten neuer FPGA-Architekturen und -Ausr\u00fcstungen zu verk\u00fcrzen.    <\/ul>\n<p>Projektbezogene Open-Source-Tools:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> OpenFPGA &#8212;
