Collabora has announced the implementation of OpenGL ES 3.1 support in the Panfrost driver for Midgard GPUs (Mali T760 and newer) and Bifrost GPUs (Mali G31, G52, G76). These changes will be part of the upcoming Mesa 21.2 release, expected next month. Future plans include enhancing performance on Bifrost chips and implementing support for GPUs based on the Valhall architecture (Mali G77 and newer).
