Linux4yourself or "Linux for yourself" has been introduced — the first release of the independent Russian-language branch of Linux From Scratch — a guide to creating a Linux system using only the source texts of the necessary software. All source texts of the project are available on GitHub under the MIT license.
Users can choose a multilib system, EFI support, and a small set of additional software for a comfortable working environment. Additionally, an extended guide is being prepared for publication, which will include information on setting up a desktop environment and software covering various areas of application. Upcoming plans for the project include creating a guide for building an embedded system based on BusyBox and musl libraries, as well as creating a LiveCD.
