The community has launched an open beta test for the upcoming release of Debian 11, allowing even the most inexperienced novice users to participate. Full automation has been achieved by including the hw-probe package in the new version of the distribution, which can independently determine the functionality of individual devices from logs.
A daily updated repository has been organized with a list and catalog of tested hardware configurations. The repository will be updated until the expected release of the new version of Debian, scheduled for August 14, after which it will become a place for collecting usage statistics for the next two years.
