The basic I2P client is written in Java and can run on a wide range of platforms such as Windows, Linux, macOS, Solaris, etc. I2pd is an independent implementation of the I2P client in C++ and is distributed under a modified BSD license.
The new release of I2P is notable for a change in version numbering — instead of another update in the 0.9.x branch, version 1.5.0 is proposed.
