The ALT 9.2 Workstation K release is now available. This version features the KDE graphical environment and NVIDIA binary drivers. The distribution also provides a graphical interface for system configuration, including authentication (via Active Directory and LDAP/Kerberos), time installation and synchronization, user and group management, system log viewing, and printer addition.
Builds are prepared for the x86_64 architecture in the form of an installation image (4.5 GB) and a Live image (3.2 GB) — HTTP, RSYNC, and Yandex mirror. The product is distributed under a License Agreement, which allows free use for individuals, but legal entities are permitted only for testing, and a commercial license must be purchased or a written licensing agreement concluded for use (reasons).
