A new version of the Tor Browser 11.0.1 is available. The browser focuses on ensuring anonymity, security, and privacy, with all traffic routed exclusively through the Tor network. Direct access through the current system's network connection is impossible, preventing the tracking of the user's real IP address (in the event of a browser hack, attackers may gain access to network system parameters, so to completely block possible leaks, products like Whonix should be used). The Tor Browser builds are prepared for Linux, Windows, and macOS.
The new release includes the Blockchair search engine, enabling searches across 17 blockchains of popular cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, DogeCoin, Litecoin, Monero, etc.). For instance, users can now enter a cryptocurrency wallet address or transaction number in the address bar, choose Blockchair, and receive detailed information about the wallet's status and associated operations. In addition to adding Blockchair support, the new version has also disabled Firefox's recommendation system (recommended add-ons for installation) and resolved an issue that occurred after changing the 'Always use private browsing mode' setting in about:preferences#privacy.
