CodeWeavers has released the CrossOver 21.1 package, based on Wine code, designed to run programs and games written for the Windows platform. CodeWeavers is a key participant in the Wine project, sponsoring its development and contributing all innovations made for its commercial products back to the project. In the new version:
- The Wine Mono engine with .NET implementation has been updated to version 6.3.
- Support for Rockstar Games Launcher and Grand Theft Auto V (including GTA Online) has been added.
- Improvements have been brought to wined3d.
- Support for Outlook 2016/365 has been resumed for Linux.
- Support for the latest versions of the Quicken financial suite and Ubisoft Connect has been enhanced.
- Support for macOS 12 (Monterey) has been added.
