An experimental release of the open implementation of WinAPI — Wine 7.3 has taken place. Since the release of version 7.2, 15 bug reports have been closed and 650 changes have been made.
The most significant changes:
- Support for the 'long' type has continued in the code (over 230 changes).
- Correct support for Windows API sets has been implemented.
- The translation of the USER32 and WineALSA libraries to use the PE (Portable Executable) file format instead of ELF has continued.
- Improvements have been made for joysticks supporting the HID protocol.
- Bug reports related to the following games have been closed: Motocross Madness 2, Gray Matter, Black and White 2, Mulle Meck, Trails to Azure.
- Bug reports related to the following applications have been closed: Microsoft Visual Studio 2019.
