The beta version of the Thunderbird 100 mail client includes a built-in, default client for the decentralized communication system Matrix. Its implementation supports advanced features such as end-to-end encryption, invitation sending, delayed loading of participants, and editing of sent messages.
Among other changes in Thunderbird 100:
- A new option has been added to the context menu for email editing that allows selecting all messages at once.
- Support for importing address books in SQLite format has been added.
- Support for importing address books in CSV format with records separated by the ';' character has been added.
- The data import tab has been enhanced with the ability to export the current profile.
- Auto-saving of OpenPGP public keys from attachments and headers has been ensured.
- The message composition window now features an indicator for the expiration of recipient OpenPGP keys.
