Oracle has released an update for the Solaris 11.4 operating system, SRU 44 (Support Repository Update), which includes a series of additional fixes and improvements for the Solaris 11.4 branch. To install the proposed fixes in the update, simply run the command ‘pkg update’. Users can also take advantage of the free version of Solaris 11.4 CBE (Common Build Environment), developed using a continuous model for publishing new versions.

- Six vulnerabilities affecting the kernel and standard utilities have been resolved. The most serious issue in the utilities has been assigned a severity level of 8.2. Details are not specified.
