The fourth corrective update for the Debian 11 distribution has been released, which includes accumulated package updates and fixes for issues in the installer. The release contains 81 updates addressing stability issues and 79 updates fixing vulnerabilities.
Notable changes in Debian 11.4 include updates to the latest stable versions of packages such as apache2, clamav, postfix, network-manager, ganeti, libtgowt, nvidia-graphics-drivers, nvidia-persistenced, nvidia-settings, nvidia-xconfig, telegram-desktop, ublock-origin, usb.ids, and wireless-regdb. The packages elog and python-hbmqtt have been removed due to lack of support and security issues.
Installation images will soon be prepared for downloading and installing from scratch, along with a live iso-hybrid of Debian 11.4. Systems previously installed and kept up to date will receive updates present in Debian 11.4 through the standard update installation system. Security fixes included in new Debian releases are accessible to users as updates are released via the service security.debian.org.
