The QuasarApp development team has introduced CheatCard — a free loyalty program for small and medium-sized businesses. The idea of the application revolves around creating loyalty cards for regular customers. The seller defines the rules according to which their customers will earn bonuses. Interaction with customers occurs through the scanning of a universal QR code by the seller's device. The application is written in C++/QML and is distributed for free under the GPLv3 license.
Initially, CheatCard was developed as a commercial project, but in January 2022, a decision was made to make the application free software and publish the source code on GitHub. Monetization of the application occurs through a paid subscription on Patreon for those who wish to receive additional support in deploying the application and implementing specific features for their business.
CheatCard was designed as a straightforward solution for tracking regular customers. To deploy it, all you need is a device running Android or iOS. Currently, the application is available on Google Play and the App Store.
