An experimental release of the open implementation of WinAPI — Wine 7.19 has taken place. Since the release of version 7.18, 17 bug reports have been closed and 270 changes have been made.
The most significant changes:
- The ability to save DOS file attributes to disk has been added.
- The vkd3d package, which implements Direct3D 12 through a call translation to the Vulkan graphics API, has been updated to version 1.5.
- Support for the MPEG-4 audio compression format (AAC) has been implemented.
- Bug reports related to the operation of the following games have been closed: Resident Evil Revelations 2; Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Kheops Studio, Sonic Adventure DX (2004), AIMP 3.
- Bug reports related to the operation of the following applications have been closed: Visual Studio Express, .NET Framework 3.0, OpenMPT, HP Prime Virtual Calculator Emulator, Cubase 12, Windows Media Player, Subtitle Workshop Classic 6.1.4, AE VN Tools.
