Almost two years after the last update, the release of the SMTP server Sendmail 8.17.2 has been formed. In addition to bug fixes, this new version improves support for email addresses with characters from national alphabets (EAI, Email Address Internationalization), adds support for new versions of macOS, enhances DANE (DNS-based Authentication of Named Entities) checks to prevent performance degradation, and sets the MaxMimeHeaderLength parameter to a default value of 2048/1024.
